Using the app

This page covers PS2 emulator for Android, iOS and iPadOS. System settings, external device connections and data removal methods vary by platform.

Your own game files

Copyrighted games and BIOS are not bundled. Use only files you have the necessary rights to use. This is an independent project, not an official Sony product and not affiliated with Sony. A user-provided compatible PS2 BIOS is required to run games.

Games, names and artwork

Console and game names and artwork belong to their respective rights holders. Emulator and software component licenses do not grant additional rights to third-party games, artwork or trademarks.

Compatibility and licenses

Compatibility and speed depend on the game and device. The software is provided without warranty as stated in the applicable licenses. Those licenses govern your rights to use, study, modify and distribute open-source components; these terms do not restrict those rights.

Progress and support

Android: clearing app storage in Settings or uninstalling removes local app data. iOS/iPadOS: Delete App removes the app and its data; Offload App keeps documents and data. Removing local data does not itself delete separate device backups or support emails. The developer does not keep gameplay backups and cannot restore progress from a developer server.
