Scope
This page covers PS1 emulator for Android, iOS and iPadOS. System settings, external device connections and data removal methods vary by platform.
Data processing
The app works offline, without registration, ads, analytics, purchases or cloud sync. It does not send personal or gameplay data to the developer or third parties.
Data on your device
Your library and metadata, authorized game-file references or local copies, covers, favorites, recent games, control and sound settings, in-game saves and save states are stored on your device. PS1 also store user-selected BIOS files and provenance information. The app does not automatically download games or BIOS files.
Permissions
You grant access to selected files or folders through the system file picker. Android uses SAF; iOS/iPadOS manages access through system file services. If a local copy is required, the app requests consent for that file or complete set. Emulation does not need contacts, location, camera or microphone access. The OS manages external controllers; haptics depend on the device.
Deleting data
Android: clearing app storage in Settings or uninstalling removes local app data. iOS/iPadOS: Delete App removes the app and its data; Offload App keeps documents and data. Removing local data does not itself delete separate device backups or support emails. The developer does not keep gameplay backups and cannot restore progress from a developer server.
Support requests
If you email sector47@ro.ru, the developer receives your sender address and the information in your message to respond. You send the message through your email service; the app does not send it automatically. Privacy questions: sector47@ro.ru. No fixed retention period has been set for emails.
External links and backups
The app has no developer-operated cloud sync. Device backups, where enabled and supported, are controlled by the OS and the relevant service. Opening privacy or support links takes you to a website or email service, which may process connection data under its own policies. Offline gameplay does not mean that an external browser or email service makes no network requests.
Files, exports and retention
Removing a library entry, a managed game copy and progress are separate actions. The app does not delete external originals; remove those and exported archives yourself. Local data remains until you remove it. You choose the export destination; cloud file providers may transfer data under their own policies. Support email is used to answer your request and related questions; request deletion at sector47@ro.ru, subject to applicable retention obligations. System logs may contain file names or paths; the app does not send them automatically.
PS1 system backup
Android can back up or transfer PS1 internal app data when system backup is enabled. This is an OS/provider feature, not a developer cloud service. iOS/iPadOS backups are likewise controlled by device/account settings. Keep exports of important memory cards and states separately; a backup does not guarantee state compatibility with a different core.
